Matt's story 

Genuine, steeped in experience and leaving no stone unturned in search for the truth of the land, the road and the heart, Matt Ward is a breath of authentic air in Australian country music. With two #1 Australian ARIA country albums under his belt and performances at some of Australia's biggest country music festivals, Ward is regarded as serious songwriter and creative talent in Australian country music. Recorded at YellowDOG Studios (Wimberley, Texas), his "sublime" sophomore album "If I Was In Dallas Tonight”  places Matt alongside some of the hottest country artists coming out of yellowDOG including Charley Crockett, Colter Wall and Mike & The Moonpies. Off the back of his debut success with "Heartland" (produced by Matt Fell), the quality and diversity of Ward’s new work serve only to strengthen Ward's reputation as "the genuine article". Combined with his authenticity as a story teller and genuineness as a person, Ward is ready for country music’s biggest stages.
